Hi All,

I recently suffered the imfamous Black screen of death on my vista pc. Is there anyway i can do a system restore from startup? I dont have a Vista setup disk. Thanks, Tom

How come you don't have a disk? Is it because your copy of vista is an illegal one?

Illegal is such a harsh word. lol - More Aquired from the interweb sounds better. Thanks for the Answer. Will have a go.
vista has a '"hidden partion" with recovery built in to it, plus you have "restore points" as long as you have not turned that option off, just go to system tools in your programs list and look for system restore, or his the f8 key during startup and then make the chiose of "start from last good configeration"cheers.
