High Res Webcam

We want to make videos on our PC and upload them to YouTube et cetera... Can someone suggest a good webcam that has tv-like quality when played back?
My last webcam was 10 years ago and the quality was terrible. I take it they have become better as the vids on youtube are very clear but i have no idea what the tuber is using to record it with.

Familiar with u-tube (not heard of et cetera ... .co.uk or com?)

there are max resolutions and file sizes to consider - they won't let you use broadcast quality
