How do I activate Norton Systemworks 2005 after formatting hard drive? (code already being used before, therefore, no longer unique)

when you activate it, you normally get a number of times you can do it before it refuses. so, (assuming you purchased it and didnt steal it of the internet!), it should let you. Failing that, youll need to call their customer services, which i had to do once, and they will give you a special code, but beware! i know for a fact that they know all illegal product keys!

Surely if you have the product on CD, the key will still be unique as noone else has it as long as it wasnt thieved off the net.
