Digital photo frame help needed

How do I copy photos (that I have stored on my laptop) onto a digital photo frame? I presume I need to use the memory card from my camera but I can't easily see how to copy the photos onto the card.

Also, can photos be stored on the frame or do they always need to be kept on the card? Therefore if I am giving the frame as a gift, do I need to buy a seperate card for it?

Thanks.

There are lots of different photo frames, and they work differently.

Some have built in memory and you just connect them to the computer with a usb lead and copy the photos onto the frame.

Others use a memory card, with these you need another card for the frame and would normally use the card reader for your computer to copy the pics to the card and then put that in the frame.

Either way when you plug the frame or card in to your computer it will appear as another drive under my computer, to copy your photos to the card/frame just right click on the photo/s you want and select send to and then the drive letter for the frame/card.
