We're due for our digital switchover in August and I was wondering if there is any chance it will improve the DAB radio signal, which is currently unavailable in our area.
Also, does anyone know if there are plans to make all radio broadcasts digital.

Digital Power will increase 10 fold when Analogue is finally switched off so everything you receive via Freeview including Radio Channels will improve. In 2015 the Government are aiming to change all Radio Broadcasts to Digital so we will have to wait and see.

Thanks Redman. Sounds like we'll see an improvement. (excuse the puns!)
According to the 2009 edition of Radio Listeners Guide the migration to DAB only should not start until 50% of listening is via DAB-enabled devices. The government backed group who are considering this subject published an interim report in June 2008 stating that the target date for complete digital migration by 2020 seemed to be optimistic.
