I can't use my SpellCheck for some reason in Outlook Express as for some reason I cant click on the icon.  Thank you

Do you have Word, Excel or MS Works installed on your computer?  I think you might need one of them installed to have the spell checking working in Outlook Express.

Well I have word installed as far as i'm aware on my pc but Cut, Copy, Paste and Spelling can't be clicked on were as all the other icons are in bold, they are not.  Cheers for your help and hopefully you can help as i'm clue less about it, although the spelling had always worked until someone recently gave it a reboot to get rid of virus's for me.  Thanks

I think ive got MS Works installed on my computer but have you got any ideas how I know for sure as it was recently given a reboot by someone and now i'm not so sure as i'm a novice to this.  Cheers

Have a look in the regional settings to make sure that the language is set correctly.  A littel guide is here:

Then also check that the Spell Checker in Word or Works is setup correctly.
