When trying to play a computer game (loaded off CD-ROM) a little box says "loading Virtools" then the screen goes to black. I can only get it back on by Contro/Alt/Delete.

Any ideas what I should do - or what my computer is missing to get this game to work?

I only own 2 games and neither will work with my system and I'm running a fairly new computer with Vista OS.

Many thanks.

Are these secret games vista compatible?
Some older games require a compatabilty patch to work on Vista, some won't work at all.If you tell us what games they are we may be able to help more :)

The following games are for my daughter and have just been bought:

High School Musical Dance - a PC DVD-Rom (bought in USA) which says it is compatiable with Vista (it is a new DVD) but after loading it onto computer won't play and says that "Microsoft is looking to resolve the problem" or words to that effect.

Ellen Whitaker The horse Mystery - A PC CD-ROM (bought yesterday but it is quite old). It says it is compatiable with 98/ME/2000/XP but doesn't mention Vista and this is the one that comes up with the Virtools message. Any ideas about what I need to download to make it work?

Many thanks in advance.
1. First try to check that that game which you want to play on your computer is compatible or not may be the hardware compatible but operating system you are running is not compatible.

2. This is final step first try to copy entire folder of this game to your computer and then try to run or play game from computer not directly using CD.

Try the best best of Luck.
