Sony Ericsson K800i Problem

For some reason all my games and applications on my phone's memory card, duplicated themselves (so there are 2) and they cannot be deleted. They will also no longer play, so are pointless. How can i delete them? I have already tried reformatting my m2 memory card but they have not been deleted! Please help.
