Mac iChat Help Please

I have a mac and have accidentally hit the iChat icon on the bottom bar of icons. I can't close it as the only option is DONE (and I havent set anything up). Go Back is greyed out. Please does anyone know how to close it? Would dragging it into garbage bin help? Thanks

Go to the Apple top left on the Menu bar and click.
Go down to Force Quit and click
Choose iChat and click Force Quit

Thank you ever such a lot, Milvus, I have done that and it worked. If I ever decide to set up iChat do you know please whether it will start up from 'scratch' or will it open at the place I forced it to quit?
