I cant download with my phone help??

Hi i have got a new nokia 6220 which replaced my nokia 5800 express,its pay as you go, i can go on to the internet and search for things but when i select download options under internet catogorie this comes up "catalog list needs to be loaded first " an when i select "ok" this comes up "connecting to server" immediately after this comes up "error ocurring while browsing" all 02 do is send me internet settings but ovbiously internet is ok when i can go on to internet and search it just wont let me download and the option is there
