Laptop problem

When I listen to music on my new laptop (acer aspire 5738Z) , I get a crackling sound which is really annoying. I have managed to narrow the problem down to the fact that the crackiling only happens when I have Utorrent running.If I close Utorrent down the crackling goes away.

Does anyone know why Utorrent would cause this to happen? I never had this problem with my old laptop.
