Twitter - More followers...PROBLEM!

As an occasionally foolish guy, I felt that I needed more followers on my Twitter page and so I saw one of my friends had joined this website thing called 'moretwitterfollowers' which does that, only a bit more. It'll automatically update your status telling your friends to use it. I found that annoying and also decided to opt out of the use.
However (here's the worst part), after I opt out it'll still update my status with the same sort of things. I understand that I shouldn't have ever logged into that, but what use is it now telling me that?
So is there any way of stopping it from doing this to my status without deleting my Twitter (I have many good friends on there and I'd rather not spend time having to re-follow them).

Change your Twitter password, as presumably you had to tell it that to allow it to update your page.

Hi Lov3shy! Have you tried deleting your account from that website - moretwitterfollowers? Deleting your account there might put a stop to that annoying activity.
