My contract with 02 is due to expire soon.

I obviously want to get the best deal (even if that means leaving 02), so...............

Am I best going to somewhere like the Carphone Warehouse (I presume they are indepenent?) or a "dedicated" 02 or Vodafone shop?

carphone sell the vodaphone contracts that vodaphone give them to sell .. same with t-mob, orange etc etc .. the difference with O2 is that they have their own O2 customer service people so come upgrade time / hassle / complaints they have more leeway than a regular high st O2 store ... I have always been very happy with CPW O2 and the service they have given me .. wish I could say the same for my local high st O2 store ...
don't go near carphone warehouse, they sell you the product and fail to inform you of all the details the way the dedicated branded store would, they don't want to know you after the product is out of their shop

Thanks guys.

pingu - I presume that you mean the CPW have their own 02 staff?

I never seem to get as good a deal or as nice a phone as my mates, even though I (often) pay more than they do! :o(
I must say I have bought from CPW over the past few years and amreally happy with their after sales service. Any problems I had they were only to happy to help out.
