my brother has put his ipod nano through the washing machine.
what should he do?

hang it up to dry, they tend to shrink if put in tumble dryer.

Also try sticking it in a bag of uncooked rice for a few days: the rice will draw the water out. Works for mobile phones too...

well as you wouldn't want to shrink a nano anymore I'd agree don't tumble dry it.

Wrap it in kitchen paper then bury it in a tub of salt/rice mix, and place it in a warm place for 2 days and then try it again.

id bury it for 4 days, blink 3 times and click your heels whilst spinning round an oak tree. i find that usually helps when i stick my i pod in the washing machine
