I have a laptop that my adaughter also uses. She has MSN Messenger installed for the usual teenage reasons. However it also opens on start up on my account. This isn't earth-shattering but it's really annoying me. Can anyone offer any method to stop it popping up at start up, yet leave it accessible in the programs list?

How the heck are you, not seen you for ages?
load msn messenger, make it full screen so you can see the menus, then click tool > options, click on the preferences tab and take a tick out of run windows messenger at windows startup.

(the precise way it's done does vary slightly depending on the version you have installed, but they are all roughly the same)
