Windows Vista Problem

I have just downloaded the internet explorer 8 download.
But now when i click on the web and click to the drop down list for my visited web pages it doesnt drop down anymore. So i need to keep typing the url in.
Can anybody help me please?

if you've just installed it - you haven't got a list of visited pages (for ie8) - visit some .... then the dropdown will start to work

In your web browser you need to click on tools - internet options. Click on the Content tab and somewhere on there you'll find 'auto complete'. You can change the settings to enable auto complete when you start typing the url.

You may also need to check your browsing history settings on the General tab in Internet Options, but I think the drop down list is linked to auto complete somehow.

just tried it and it works - it's definitely auto complete that you need to enable.
