streaming from pc to pc

hi could eny body out there tell me whats the best and possablely cheepest way to stream whats on my computor ie films on the hard drive or live football streamed and whatched on pc wirelessly to my tv in another room,cheers thanks if you can help?

you've said in the title streaming from PC to PC and then in the question asked how to stream to a TV.

streaming to a TV direct is only possible if you have a DLNP enabled TV.

Streaming to a PC is easier, but pointless, you may as well just share the files and play them over the network.
