Hi,
Wanting to get some more RAM for a Packard Bell desktop but finding conflicting info on the web. The current RAM is DDR2-533 CL4 but been looking at
http://www.dabs.com/selectiontool.aspx?Name=cnetMemory
(iwhich gave me a list when I checked for a Compaq Presario SR1909UK, couldn't be easier !) but I don't know what model the desktop is. Looked in all the system info and only clue is GA-8TRC410M-NF. Looking at Packard Bell website I'd guess it's an iMedia but how can I find out which model ?
Thanks

Thanks (again !), ChuckFickens, but it's a desktop so it's DIMM.
Did look at crucial but had seen on some forums it's not always reliable. Does it just look at what's already installed ? Would be happier to search by model so d'you of any way to find it out ? It's not on any label anywhere and the XP Help and Support page he's got is rubbish compared to the Compaq one I've got.
oh yeah, sorry didn't spot you said desktop..

you should be able to get some details by putting the serial number in here

http://support.packardbell.com/uk/

But once again, as you already know you have DDR2-533Mhz ram just put the same type in and it will be fine.

Only serial number I could find is SNA123456789, which doesn't exist on any sites I've tried, including Packard Bell's. :o(
