writing letters on pc

a while ago i used to write letters on my pc and have the little "paper clip" ask what i wanted to do, ive no longer got the program and i cant remember what it was, can anyone help please, many thanks

It was the office assistant, the annoying little thing is part of microsoft office from version 2000 onwards

Which version, it's on all versions from office97, except for office2007 when it was removed totally,and in office XP it is disabled by default.

Try clicking on the help menu in any office application (word, excel whatever) and select show office assistant...

though personally I would rather see the blurdy thing shot! (it was removed from office2007 because people hated it so much!)
