Wireless video senders
3 Answers
This was supposed to be easy! We have just bought and AEI wireless video sender. We have set it up we have a V+ box connected to the main TV by an HDMI link. The new tv with the sender plugged into the scart plug is just showing a blue screen and no signal is it because of the HDMI cable? Will it ever work or should we take it back and just get an aerial booster to try and get a picture? thank you

I presume you have connected the video sender to the SCART socket labeled TV on the V+ digibox. Unfortunately the HDMI option on the V+ disables all live TV output via the TV SCART and RF, therefore if HDMI is being used as the main output you will lose the other connections until this is then disabled.
The only connection that isn't disabled is the VCR SCART but this isn't meant for live TV; it is used for backing up your V+ recordings to DVD Recorder or Video Recorder. However it is claimed that live TV is still streamed to the VCR SCART but without any of the onscreen menus normally viewed.
