What's happened to Orange email?
I've been using Orange ISP for a long time, with broadband, but in the last few days something has gone wrong with the email system. I use Outlook Express and can send emails in the usual way but cannot receive them. My system tells me "The host 'pop.wanadoo.co.uk' could not be found." Mailwasher tells me there is no such host. I've checked that the server name is shown correctly. Seems to me like trouble with a server but I would be interested to know if anyone else is having this problem. In the meantime I am using a basic dial up with another ISP. Thank you

Either goofy is, errrr, going goofy.....or this has moved
Orange seem to have changed their mail server names in the last couple of days (without telling their customers... . nice!)
click tools > accounts and on the server settings page change to the following
POP (incoming) pop. orangehome. co. uk
SMTP (outgoing) smtp. orangehome. co. uk
POP (incoming) pop.
SMTP (outgoing) smtp.

Getting back to the original question . . . Have you tried using Orange webmail instead? You should be able to use your normal logon and password once you register for an account here http://www.orange.co.uk/communicate/email/
