Noisy Sky+ Box

When I got up this morning my Sky+ box was making rather a lot of 'fan' noise.
Like all Sky boxes it is left in Stand-by mode when not in use.

Has it overheated or is there something else wrong with it?
I had this once before and I'm sure I just powered it off for a short while and switched it back on and it was ok

Hi Kos - I had this happen to my newish Sky+ box a couple of months back. I rang Sky, to be told there was no problem, it could possibly be something being downloaded into it; there was nothing wrong with the box. I was informed to do as you did, power it off for a short while before turning it back on again. I must admit to hear the noise was very worrying at the time though!
