Desktop short cuts / icons

Can anyone tell me why my shortcuts on desktop keep changing icons? For example, my shortcut to Lloyds online has changed it's icon to the BBC icon, but it still links to Lloyds.

Sounds like your browser has downloaded another favicon.ico and used this instead. If the link still works, I wouldn't worry.

A favicon is the little picture that website owners can use to identify their site.
