Firewalls

Does anyone know of a free firewall which is compatible with the avg anti-virus software?i downloaded the recent avg recently and it hated zonealarm so much i couldn't access the net at all.so now i've ditched zonealarm and need a new firewall.any suggestions?

I had zonealarm and had same problem getting on certain sites now I use Norton firewall seems to be okay and is a lot better.

I use Tiny Personal Firewall with my AVG and have had no probs.

i use sygate firewall - free dl and no probs with avg which i also have installed

previously had zone alarm but had to uninstall

I have used AVG anti-virus and Zone Alarm firewall and have never had any problems.

Ive used them for years. I also use pop up killer.. easy to exclude or blacklist webpages. I also use adaware without any problems.

Yup, I had no problems using AVG and Zone alarm  either.

What version Zone Alarm you using?

Not sure which version of zonealarm i was using as it's now gone.it was only when i downloaded the new avg that problems started.prior to that they lived in harmony.i'd be a bit wary of reinstalling zonealarm though as i couldn't even use internet explorer.i suspect it was because both avg and zonealarm have email checkers.thanks to everyone for replies.i'll investigate the suggestions.
