Connection to internet ?
I have no landline at present as I have just moved. and strapped for cash.
I have a netgear wizard dongle and my computer is set up.
I used to be able to get on the internet using my old landladies broadband in the bedsit I was in.
What can I do for the cheapest option ?

Cable Internet (although considering you have no landline, you probably aren't going to have this installed).
Mobile broadband
The latter can be used on a Pay as you Go basis, but is expensive for data compared to fixed broadband, though it will require no physical installation in your new home. Your Netgear dongle isn't going to do much good unless you plan to steal other people's Internet via their wireless routers. That option is the cheapest, but it's also illegal, can be difficult to do, and oftentimes not actually possible.
