SD card to DVD recorder

I have a DVD recorder with Hard-drive. Is it possible to transfer videos from my digital cameras SD card direct onto the hard-drive of the DVD recorder, in a similar way that I transfer now, onto my computer hard-drive, via a SD card reader.

one way is to put them all on your comp burn them to a cd or dvd the load it in your dvd recorder then use the dubbing section to burn to your hard drive it works with me as my lcd tv has no sd card slot being 5 years old now
