If you have £800 to spend on a good TV I would spend it wisely and go for a top Brand such as Sony.
I personally have Model KDL40W4000 which I am very pleased with. Have a look at the above site where you should find the size of TV to your liking.
Sony have recently brought out a new 40" LCD HDTV with inbuilt Freesat but the price range is well over £1000.
There are plenty of other Models to choose from within your price range.

One thing to look at is screen size suited to your viewing range. A big screen is sometimes not always better if your lounge is small.
