Bingo using playing cards

Hi

Does any fellow answerbankers know how to play card bingo - the type that is played in bars in Spain using packs of playing cards?

I am wanting to provide this as entertainment for approx 40 persons over Christmas and although I have played it myself whilst in Spain, I am not sure how many cards per person to use etc.

I would be grateful for any help in setting this up.

They play a version in my local club, using all the old packs of playing cards. All the old cards are mixed up and then sorted into sets of thirteen, (it doesn't matter if the hands have doubles i.e 2 x 3 of spades, 3 x ace of diamonds etc) these hands are then numbered and bagged, we use change bags. To play the caller has a complete pack of cards and the players each have one of the made up bags, the caller then turns his cards up one at a time and each player discards them if they've got them in their hand for instance if he calls the jack of diamonds every body with that card discards it, the winner being the first person to get rid of all his cards
