hi all,
is there anyway i can do something about the 106 warnings that have just come up in the results of a scheduled avg scan?
can i do anything to get the result to nil attall please? or are they there to stay?

They are probably warnings about "cookies" that your browser has saved. Generally cookies are not that much to be worried about.

You could go into your browser and delete all your temporary interent files and cookies. That should get rid of your warnings.

Note that SOME cookies keep a note of your userid and password to save you having to re-logon to web sites, so if you clear your cookies you may have to logon again when you revisit some web sites.

thanks for answering vhg, very much appreciated.
ive been in and deleted all that youd said, but theyre still showing up as warnings on the scan.
