Can anyone tell me what is the best rewritable disc
to use in a Panasonic DVD recordable

Panasonic recommend DVD-RAM's in their Handbook

i usually use logik dvd + rw never had any problems with them, also i have used verbatim but they start to jump when been erased a couple of times
