No sound on TV?

Hi, Am using a portable TV and suddenly there is no sound can still get a picture. I tried another portable TV and the same thing happens picture but no sound.
Can anyone help?

Have you tried again later in the day? It may be a fault from the broadcasters end? Also are you plugging a rooftop aerial into it? If so, the aerial may be damaged with the high winds we suffered yesterday. Easiest is if you can get hold of some binoculars and look at the aerial on the roof unless it is obviously damaged.

if you're plugging in via a dvd player or set top box, the scart at those may be loose. Try pushing them in

are you using analogue (aerial) or something conencted to the AV inputs like a set top box or dvd palyer?
