Philips picture switching

I have a Philips 28PW6518/05 telly coupled with a Philips DTR1500 freeview reciever and it doesn't automatically switch between picture sizes (14:9 for The Hits and 16:9 for ITV1 for example). What setting do I need to change on the DTR to make it switch?

check the tv manual - be sure the menu option for switchover is enabled somewhere.

I assume you have the units wired via SCART?
