incredimail

I have been hearing some disturbing stories about Incredimail and hidden spyware etc. Another one is that the system grows and grows making the computer go slower and slower. First question is - does anyone know if these stories are true? I have thought about deleting Incredimail but have been told that not all will be removed, that some spyware will remain hidden in other programs etc. Second question is - if I do delete the program, how do I save the emails which are 'inside' Incredimail, can I simply (somehow) copy them from 1 email program (Incredimail) to another (Windows Mail)?
