I have recently purchased a Nokia 5530 mobile phone, and have downloaded their software Nokia Ovi player.

It has now made this my audio player, how do I make Windows Media player my default player once again?

Thanks for your answer rojash, but am I doing something wrong?

I am using Windows XP.

When I open Windows media Player it fills the whole screen, ie no tool bar at the top, only 'Now Playing' 'Library' 'Rip' 'Burn' 'Sync' and 'media Guide'.

Where can I find Tools/Options?
Try rt click on one of your audio files and select open with Media player and aloso tick the box to always use thiis applicatuion for files of this type.

You should be able to bring the Media player toolbar back using one of the drop downs at the top. If you can't see anything - try rt click and exit full screen

Hope this helps it's a while since I needed to do it and memory may be rusty

Thanks, had no joy with the tool bar.

I finally did it by right clicking a file selecting properties/general. it then said "opens with" and the type of player. There was a "change to" facility, which bought up a range of players including Window Media Player.which I clicked, and they reverted back to Window Media Player.

Thank goodness for that.
For future refererence, if you've got the menus turn off, you can access tools, etc by right-clicking on top bar.
