YouTube - problems with watching videos - Help!!
I am very computer literate, but this has beaten me! In the early days, I had no problems watching videos on YouTube, but now, they will just not play for more than a few seconds before cutting out, and re-downloading the next part of the buffering/streaming.
I haven't changed any of the computer configuration, and I've tried re-downloaded Adobe Flash more than once, apparently with the latest version, but it still doesn't work. It's very frustrating and I don't know how to solve it. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

Sorry, folks, and many thanks for your helpful replies. Family problems took over and I've been away to help!.
I use Internet Explorer, and upgraded to IE 8 some time ago, which I think might have caused the problem I originally mentioned. I've re-installed Flash on several occasions but it hasn't made any difference to the video-watching, which still cuts out after a couple of seconds, re-buffers and then plays the next couple of seconds, and goes on like that.
Does anyone know if you can downgrade back to Internet Explorer 7, which seems to be when it all worked properly?

I don't know if Sarah_Louise will read this, but I've tried all the suggestions given on AB. I already had Real player installed, and have tried that as my default, but it's still the same. I've unblocked pop-ups, still the same problem, and I've checked my Firewall to allow both Windows Media and Real player, with the same result. I'm still confused and frustrated, as everything I've tried, and suggestios made, have not solved the problem!!!
Many thanks for all your help but I'll have to try my computer guys locally, as they might be able to solve it for me.
