Hiya, got a net book from my lovely hubby yesterday! Yay! but i have a question, and hope that someone can help me! I have lots of music, and this i think is what slowed my last comp up. Is it possible to imput my music on to my itunes, but have it stored on a remote hard drive, can this be done?

Hope someone can advise me, i dont want to make my netbook slow down, but want to have itunes with good music readily avalible, for my ipone! I really should be better with all these gaggets, i love them, but dont use them to the full potential!

Thanks!

It doesn't matter how much music you put on your computer - it will have no effect whatsoever on the speed.
In theory Rojash is correct, but I work with the sort of people who fill their (work provided!) laptops so full of their own music that there isn't enough space on the disk for the computer to run efficiently. Never use iTunes, but every other music management software I have tried allows you to store music on an external drive.

That said, unless you are filling your netbook so that there is VERY little free disk space the amount of music you have shouldn't make a difference.
