no symbols on computer for printer theyve disappeared

HI, I.m a bit of a novice concerning computers, the symbols for my printer etc that are usually in a row acrossthe top of my screen have disappeared and I don't know how to get them back or print anything without them . I think I pressed something I shouldn't have, can someone please help? thankyou

Which program(s) are you seeing this with?

Select:

View - Toolbars

then choose the one you need

It might be the Toolbar thats been changed. Go into the VIEW menu (Top Left) and you can change the Toolbar settings

when I put my computer on , I get yahoo and a printer icon comes on etc along the top bar and also missing is the box where you go to cut and paste things all this has disappeared I cannot go into view icons because it is not there absolutely lost as to what to do. any more suggestions woulkd be helpful, thankyou, joddington

Dear all that tried to help me, ............ I've been fiddling about all evening trying to get my computer restored and finally clicked command bar on yahoo and two things had somehow been turned off I clicked them back on again and all was restored, Very pleased didn't fancy taking my computer in and facing a big bill, many thanks , joddington.
