don't think that is possible. once you hid that send button, it gone!
What did you paste on the bottom ?

I used to support e-mail in a large company many years ago and you would be amazed what people sent by mistake.
You could in then days fix the issue , if they told you quickly ....

love letters sent to wrong people ....
a manager telling an employee , why he did not get a pay rise ...sent to the whole company (800 people) ...
so funny some of them ....
Sorry but no. It's like dropping the message in the post box. Once it's in there, you can't get it back again.
I'm surprised at this as although I'm no techie I remember that at work you could retrieve unread emails....the trouble is I can't remember how. The person it was sent to would receive a message saying the email had been recalled.
I found this on the web, joko....may help :0)

Step # 1: In Outlook, go to the Navigation Pane and click on Sent Items

Step # 2: Open the message you want to replace.

Step # 3: In the Actions menu, click Recall This Message

Step # 4: Click Delete unread copies of this message
Yogi's reply (and I suspect what Craft was talking about) only holds true if you are using a Microsoft exchange server (which you are not, they are only used in business environments)

For all other mail services you can not recall an email.
Indeed. It's possible in Outlook but even that is hit or miss. There is no way in Yahoo.
"Indeed. It's possible in Outlook"

But only if you are connected to an exchange server, you can not recall messages in outlook if you are using a "normal" POP3 or IMAP based server.

(this is a a bit irrelevant to the OP though)
I agree Chuck. We have an exchange server and even then you can usually see the recalled message.
I agree with all the previous answers - once you have sent an email you can't unsend it. However, if it's a question of not getting a job surely it's worth phoning the company concerned and speaking to the Personnel Manager's secretary (or whoever you sent the email to) and ask her (him?) to delete / ingnore the offending emai. A grovelling apology, coupled with a bit of humour might just do the trick. After all, you've nothing to lose, have you?

well they saw it...and don't seem in the least bit bothered...so all ok, cheers guys
yes Chuck you suspected me correctly.....
Those recall facilities require the recipient to agree to the recall and who wouldn't look at it first?
