I am told to use an RCA cable that came with my VCR to be able to use the Roxio Easy Easy VHS to DVD, but my VCR is part of a combi and didn't have any extra leads with it! Is the RCA cable the one with the tri-colour leads (red, white and yellow)? And what is the white, yellow and black one for? HELP!

yes the RCA lead is normally the 3 leads, red, white and yellow.

They can also be yellow white and black though, just use the black in place of the red.

Thanks a lot for that Chuck.. and the black is definitely the same thing as the red? Only I don't want to blow the thing up lol!
if the combo has a scart socket instead of RCA phono outputs you might need this adaptor:

just plug your cables into that and away you go. you won't damage anything as these are low level line in and outputs.
Good luck if you can get it to work cos I've got the same thing and can't get it to work, can you please post if you get yours working
