Does anyone have any statistics on how Solar Panels, (electric and water), perform in this cold weather, especially now it's darker during daylight hours?
Nope, but cold doesn't make much difference; sun (or lack of it) is the important thing. We are still getting about 60% of our hot water from our solar panels.
I'd be interested in a synopsis of solar panels long term. I'm unconvinced that the financial and environmental costs involved with creation, installation, maintenence/repairs, and final disposal makes the hassle worthwhile.
