Sony DMPORT adaptor for iPod

Does anybody have one of these for their Sony AV system?

My question is: If, when docked, I use an iPod app to listen to Internet radio (using my home WiFi connection), will the audio be routed through my AV system via the dock?
I know this dock allows music/podcast control for the iPod but it doesn't say if it allows sounds from apps to be routed out.
