when I switch of my engine, the following morning the battery is flat. this has happened 3 days this week. nothing is left on to burn the battery life. there is no light on the dash to say anything is wrong. last night I left the engine running untill I disconnected the battery to preserve the charge and as soon as I disconnected the battery the engine stopped, I know this should not happen.I have been disconnecting the battery so that it starts in the morning for work and I have a spare battery to back me up. Both batteries are new and take a charge no problem in the house over night.
Does anybody have an idea what might be wrong?

Clean battery connectors with emery paper thoroughly and rub some Vaseline around them to prevent eroding and make tight.
