does anybody know how i empty my "c" drive in my laptop??

i have downloaded a lot of songs and some films from the internet, but now have an almost full " c " drive. does any technical ab know how to empty it. is it possible, impossible, complex or very easy to do?

Right click on any folder you want rid of and go to delete

You can use programs like

DriveSpacio http://www.drivespacio.f-sw.com/

Xinorbis http://www.freshney.org/xinorbis/index.htm

WInDirStat http://windirstat.info/

or various others which will give a graphical display of how your hard drive is being used [n.b. they do take some time if you analyse the whole disk] and some allow you to delete items there and then.

But do be sure you know what it is that you are deleting, if in doubt leave alone.

You could always buy an external hard drive for extra storage . You can get a GB150 drive for around £30 these days .
