Gaming pads

Is it necessary for an occasional PC gamer to buy a sophisticated & expensive game pad like a Microsoft Sidewinder or do the cheaper game pads do the same? The only game that would be played is Pro Evolution Soccer 4.

Not at all, get any Logitech pad and it'll be fine (www.logitech.com)
