Standard blackberry curve question.

Hello,

I am fairly new to using a blackberry..
However, ive had a problem which i cannot sort out and its driving me MAD.

I have installed the facebook app and it keeps showing i have 1 new notification when i don't? it doesnt flash or have the little red star on it either.

There is no notification and its killing me that i cant get rid of it.

Any ideas?

Hi - I had something similar the other day .. is it a WORLD sign at the top of the screen. From my memory go to your DOWNLOADS folder and see if there is anything in there. There is usually some notification flashing to show the new program. If not then literally just go in and out of all the icons/applications within your handset!
