Microsoft's generosity

Is every user of Windows really contributing to Bill Gates philanthropic nature of helping third world countries of which he has contrilbuted $bns. Has he not put donor countries to shame?

Most of Bill Gates wealth is in Microsoft shares.

He would hardly sell them all as it would send out a bad signal about Microsoft, so while he is indeed rich, much of his wealth is "paper" wealth based on Microsoft shares.

Anyway he is no longer Microsoft Cheif Executive and concentreates his time on his charity work.

You also need to remember that the success of MS (and therefore BG's wealth) depended on a deliberate policy of bullying, blackmail, extortion, and theft.
