Do you appear when googled?

If you google yourself do you show up? I do with a really boring bit of info from work.  Will my brother-in-law now appear in a search result because Chris Nolan planning has appeared in an answerbank question?

I do. there's an American DJ called Andy Hughes, but if you scroll down past his entries, you find an interview with Morrisey from 'Creem' Magazine in the 1980's, by Andy Hughes. That's me.

Isn't it a great feeling? Yours is so much cooler than mine (an information notice to councillors - yawn).  Poor Chris spent ages and ages trawling throught his search results and had to be stopped when it became a little sad - no one said that fame would come from town planning

Just googled Chris - the answerbank route to immortality doesn't seem to have worked.  Will push on with some sort of web page (well I won't - will deploy technically adept husband).

Hopefully for some I'm not stating the obvious, but if you put your name in quotes then it'll search for your full name rather than all matches with just Chris, and then all matches for just Nolan.
i.e. "Chris Nolan"

When I do that wth my name I'm google's top 4 entries. Oh dear.

I never realised there were so many people using the alias "jenstar". I just made it up on the spot for my answerbank registration because "Jenny" and "Jennifer" were already taken.

Andy that is so very very weird!  Just this morning I came across the website for Creem magazine!!  ooer!

Yep you get me ( Tracy Morter) .  I get about 4 results on the 1st page.  The 1st being me writing something in the BMJ, my old website and my name on the Little Britain fanlist at www.davidwalliams.com

I come up a few times with my maiden name too, as well as being a logisitcs company and professional golfer in the US!

He's now made it !- Chris "not a cool film director" Nolan is now third hit on his google.  Fabulous.
