Browsing here and there and clicked onto photo of dancers ((think) in google - highlighted the picture and clicked on set as background. Now I dont want it as my background but cant get it off as there is no where to delete

You've set it as the wallpaper on your desktop?

In Windows XP, RIGHT-CLICK on the desktop, select PROPERTIES and then DESKTOP in the Display Properties. That is where you set what is displayed on the desktop.

With Vista or WIndows 7 it must be something similar but I don't have either of those to let you know exactly.
