Microsoft office 2007

When i minimize office to the bottom taskbar the programme closes altogether. any one any ideas what i might have changed or how I can correct this, it has only happened in the last couple of days or so

Office isn't a program, it's a suite of upto 14 different programs, which one(s) are you having the problem with? if it's outlook it has an option to hide when minimised, look for an icon by the clock and right click on it to unhide it
