mystery programme running

at the bottom of my screen, on the bar with the programms i have running, i have the internet, obviously and another thing that has a symbol on the elft hand side, like a programme, but no writing on it and when i click it, nothing comes up and i looked on the task manager and the only thing i've got open is the internet.

any suggestions?

i can probabaly log off and back in again to close it but what is it and why is it there, like any other programmes tab thingy.

If you RIGHT click on it, can you look at the Properties???

ijust looged out and in again and its gone, but what could it have been and why? part of a virus?

i was explainign the bar thingy at the bottom that has a ab for each of the programmes you have running.

Do you mean that this icon was at the bottom on the right hand side near the clock???
Or was it near the middle which shows the current web sites or programs running??

next to the tab that says i have the internet open. But it had no name and a symbol i didnt recognise, should i be worried about a virus?
